Wood River's Hunter Thompson is officially a Delaware State Hornet
Thompson, a senior pitching and hitting prospect, committed to play at at the NCAA Division I school back in July while he was playing in the East Coast for Elite Baseball, a national baseball factory comprising three traveling teams from Pennsylvania, West Virginia and New York.
Dylan Mills signs NLI to play at Lesley University
Wood River High School senior Dylan Mills was all smiles on Tuesday as the Wolverine catcher signed his National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Lesley University next fall.
Local Little League teams bring home championships
Two Little League teams made up of Wood River baseball players took home both the Cal Ripken Major and Minor league championships in the Twin Falls County Youth Baseball Fall League. The Wood River Giants (10U) and Wood River Red Sox (12U) dominated each title game.
